CM Ashok Gehlot urges the center to replicate Rajasthani government initiatives throughout all of India

Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan and a prominent member of the Congress, said on Thursday that the Centre should “replicate” the policies that his administration is putting into place throughout India. He said that Rajasthan is ahead in both the education and IT sectors while speaking to the audience at a rally in the Didwana region of the state.

If Congress wins re-election in the state, according to the chief minister, new districts would be established for the benefit of the populace.

“Our administration aspires to provide sound leadership. We lead the way in education. In terms of IT, we are in the lead. About 96 institutions are located in Rajasthan, and several IITs, IIMs, and agricultural schools have recently established. English schools were established,” Gehlot remarked.

“Other states are also putting the legislation we enacted into practice. The nation as a whole is debating the Right to Health that we enacted and the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) that we just passed. We demand that the Center copy and apply the Rajasthani state’s programs throughout the whole nation, he said.

It is anticipated that the Rajasthan Assembly election of 2023 would take place in or before December of this year. In the 200-seat legislative assembly, the Congress party enjoys a majority.

In the recent assembly elections in Rajasthan, which were conducted in December 2018, the Congress won 100 seats, becoming the only party to achieve the majority threshold by one seat.

Ashok Gehlot was appointed governor of the state, however the INC eventually established the government via an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party.
