In J&K’s Tangdhar sector, the Army thwarts an attempt to infiltrate the LoC, killing two militants

May 16, Srinagar According to reports, the Army stopped an attempt at infiltration on Thursday along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Tangdhar sector of the Kupwara region of J&K. Two terrorists were also killed in the incident.

According to officials, the terrorists attempted to slip onto this side of the LoC in the sector, but the Army shot at them nonstop.

Officials said that while “the operation is still ongoing and exact details are awaited,” two infiltrating terrorists had been hit.

Officials said that the corpses of killed terrorists were lying outside the LoC barrier.
