Supercomputers will spur economic development and foster creativity, according to a UP minister

The world’s first five peta FLOPS AI supercomputer, the NVIDIA DGX A100, was unveiled at the Center of Supercomputing.

The SUPERCOMPUTER, NVIDIA’s DGX A100, is powered by cutting-edge technology that represents a significant advancement in the institute’s dedication to promoting innovation and research in a variety of fields.

The “Centre of Supercomputing” launch event was organized by the KIET Group of Institutions in Delhi-NCR, Ghaziabad. The Uttar Pradesh government’s “Start in UP” start-up strategy is supporting this project.

The principal guest at the inauguration event on Saturday was Sunil Kumar Sharma, the minister of information technology and electronics for Uttar Pradesh. Special guests included Keshav Tyagi and Sanjeev Sharma, the head of the BJP in Mahanagar.

“I congratulate the institute for introducing this center of supercomputing as it will shape the future of our nation,” Sharma said in a statement on the occasion. I think that if kids start using supercomputers, they will be able to come up with new ideas and products that will spur entrepreneurship and innovation while also boosting economic development.

MLA for Ghaziabad The chairman of the governing board, Atul Garg, said, “We want to give our kids new opportunities to advance in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning through the NVIDIA DGX A100 supercomputer.” I want all of the teachers to provide the necessary technological equipment so that our kids can grow up to be capable and powerful adults.

“The NVIDIA DGX A100 is the world’s first 5 petaFLOPS AI system, designed to unify training, inference, and analytics into a single, easy-to-deploy AI infrastructure,” said Dr. Rekha Kashyap, HoD CSE AI & CSE AIML, during a briefing regarding the recently opened Centre of Supercomputing on campus. The Centre of Supercomputing’s acquisition of DGX A100 computers marks a significant advancement in our institute’s research capacity. The DGX A100 will speed up research in fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, climate science, genetics, and more because to its unmatched computing efficiency and agility.
