A 70-year-old man recently used an unusual method to locate a partner because he was tired of being alone. For $400 a week, or around Rs 33,000, he hired a giant billboard with the intention of finding the perfect lady for “marriage and karaoke.” This unique billboard is located close to Sweetwater, Texas, in the United States, and it has proven to be successful, according to a story by the New York Post.

Al Gilberti has reportedly fielded more than 400 calls and 50 emails in the last two weeks, according to the New York Post. The 20-foot billboard reads, “Lonely Male Can Relocate Sweetwater” and “Seeks Female Marriage Minded, Enjoys Karaoke.” It also shows a portrait of Al Gilbert. It further said that he was previously married and had a single child. He said that requests for money account for the bulk of the calls he gets. The guy has optimism that he will soon find the right companion.

Three steadfast characteristics that Al Gilberti looks for in women are sincerity, honesty, and loyalty. In addition, he claims that for the right person, he would relocate anywhere in the US. He is also open to moving to the UK if necessary.

The most recent one reportedly put up on April 2 and in less than two weeks, he reportedly got over 400 calls and maybe 40 or 50 emails. “I have the calls redirected to a friend’s phone,” he said. There have been more questions from individuals who want to obtain something from me, which makes sense since I would probably do the same! According to the magazine, “People were asking questions, thinking I was someone rich who could help them with their bills.”

The guy said that he was in a relationship with a woman 26 years younger than him before becoming single in 2015. He emphasized that because loneliness may strike at any age, his age would not be a barrier to finding the appropriate companion. In order to demonstrate his adaptability and openness to new experiences, he said that he would be prepared to change the location of their first date dependent on the other person’s locations.
