NCB arrests two more persons for drugs related to Sushant's death

Mumbai. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested two more people in connection with a narcotics angle investigation into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput . Investigation agency Rajput's live-in partner and actress Riya Chakraborty has also been arrested in this case. NCB on Monday arrested Riya's brother Shouvik Chakraborty's school friend Suryadeep Malhotra from Mumbai. Apart from this, NCB has detained Chris Costa from Goa on Saturday, the official said. He was brought to Mumbai and arrested after questioning. With this, the NCB has arrested a total of 18 people. She is investigating the narcotic angle in Rajput's death. The 34-year-old actor was found hanging in his flat in Bandra area of ​​Mumbai on 14 June. 

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NCB investigating the narcotics case has arrested Riya, her brother Shouvik, Rajput manager Samuel Miranda, domestic help Deepesh Sawant and others. He is currently in judicial custody. The Enforcement Directorate, which is probing the money laundering related to the case, shared a social media chat from Riya's phone with the NCB indicating the use of banned narcotics. Subsequently, the NCB started investigating the case. The CBI is investigating separately against Riya and others on charges of abetting Rajput to suicide.
