FBI raids Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence, breaks vault

Washington: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has raided the Mar-a-Lago residence of former US President Donald Trump. Giving this information, Trump said that FBI agents also broke his safe. He said such an "attack" occurs only in poor and developing countries. The former US president issued a statement saying that searches were underway at his home in Florida.

"This is a bad time for our country as my beautiful home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida has been cordoned off, raided, and taken over by a large group of FBI agents," he said. Nothing like this has ever happened to any President of the United States before.

The US Justice Ministry is investigating whether Trump has hidden confidential records at his Florida residence after leaving the White House in 2020. Trump said, "They even broke my safe. What is the difference between this and Watergate….”

Trump (76) alleged that such an attack can happen only in the third world, that is, poor and developing countries. "Sadly, America has become one of those countries, this level of misconduct has not been seen before," he said, alleging that it was an act of political targeting. He said, "I will continue to fight for the American people." Significantly, Trump is also facing investigation in another case of allegedly instigating the mob that attacked the US Parliament House on January 6, 2021.
