Police in Kansas said a shooting left 9 victims hospitalized, including 7 shot victims and 2 trampled victims

According to Kansas police, an ashooting early on Sunday morning left seven individuals with gunshot wounds and two more victims hospitalized after being trampled.

During a news conference at the site, Wichita Police Lt. Aaron Moses said that shots were fired shortly before one in the morning in a bar on North Washington Street.

“Seven persons in our group have been shot. While pointing out that the inquiry was still in its early stages, Moses added, “We have two persons who were crushed during the huge evacuation out of the club.

Although there were no deaths, one major injury did occur. According to Moses, each victim was receiving care at a local hospital.

Police detained one individual for questioning, according to Moses.
