Sugar and lemon juice – For this, you have to mix 8-9 tablespoons of water with two teaspoons of sugar and lemon juice. Heat this mixture until bubbles start appearing in it and then let it cool down. Apply it on the affected areas with the help of a spatula and keep it for about 20-25 minutes. Wash it off with cold water by rubbing it in circular motion. Sugar is a natural exfoliating agent. Lemon juice acts as a natural bleach for skin hair. It also helps in lightening the skin tone.
Lemon and honey – This is another way to replace waxing. Mix two spoons of sugar and lemon juice and one spoon of honey. Heat this mixture for about three minutes and if necessary add water to dilute the mixture. After the paste cools down, apply cornstarch on the affected areas and spread the paste in the direction of hair growth. Next, use a waxing strip or a cotton cloth, and pull the hair out in the opposite direction of growth. Honey helps in moisturizing the skin.
Oatmeal and Banana – This method is very easy. Mix two tablespoons of oatmeal with a ripe banana and apply this paste on the affected areas. Massage it for 15 minutes and wash off with cold water. Oatmeal makes a great, hydrating scrub. It is rich in antioxidants. It helps to remove the redness from your skin. Apart from removing your facial hair, this paste helps in making your skin glowing.
Potato and lentils – Mix one spoon of honey and lemon juice in five spoons of potato juice. Make a smooth paste by grinding the soaked lentils overnight. Mix all the ingredients and apply the mixture on the affected areas for about 20 minutes. Wash it off when it dries completely. Potato helps in bleaching the hair, making it less visible.
Egg whites and cornstarch – Mix one tablespoon of cornstarch and sugar with the egg whites . Apply this mixture on the places where you have unwanted hair and peel it off after drying. Egg white is sticky and when mixed with sugar and cornstarch forms a thin layer on the skin. It is not suitable for acne prone skin as egg white contains vitamin A which can lead to breakouts.
