3-kg heroin seizure results in a 4-day drug peddling detention for the police

narcotics dealer Karanbir Singh, who lives in the Ajnala hamlet of Chakbala, has previously received two illegal narcotics consignments from Pakistan. He had direct communication with Dogar Rajput, a transnational drug trafficker operating out of Pakistan.

When he was being questioned by police while on detention, this became apparent.

In the Ramdass region, Balwinder Singh of Gaggomahal hamlet was also taken into custody by the police alongside Karanbir. Three kilograms of heroin and one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine, sometimes referred to as “crystal meth” or “ICE,” were seized by the police at their place of employment.

In the last several days, there have been two consignments of heroin and ICE drugs. The Punjab Police’s CI wing had taken 4 kg of ICE and 1 kilogram of heroin from a narcotics dealer the day before yesterday.

Rural SSP Amritsar Balwinder Singh and Karanbir Singh from Punga village were taken into custody by a special cell of the rural police, according to Satinder Singh. They were riding their bikes when they received a stop signal from a police patrol. But when the accused saw the police party, they turned around to escape, but their bike skidded. When the two attempted to flee with a red kit bag, Sub-Inspector Ajaypal Singh’s police squad pursued and defeated them.

In addition to four cell phones and a bike, the police found two packages containing one kilogram of ICE and three kilograms of heroin during their search in the company of DSP (Narcotics) Tejinderpal Singh.

In this regard, a case under NDPS Act Sections 21, 22, 25, 29, 61, and 85 was filed against the two. They lacked any prior criminal history. SSP Satinder Singh said that they were apprehended for the first time. They were held by the police until May 8.
