Cold Wave Not Likely In North-West India For Next 5 Days, According To IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday that a cold wave in North West India is a "unlikely" phenomena over the next 5–6 days after rains and snowfall in several areas of North India.

There will be light to moderate snowfall in the western Himalayan area as a result of a recent western disturbance. As a result, North-West India will see a 2-3°C spike in temperature during the next 48 hours. There won't likely be a coldwave over the next 5 to 6 days, according to Dr. Naresh of the IMD.

According to IMD, snowfall and rain were seen in several regions of north India as a consequence of western disturbances. The meteorological service also said that the western disturbances seemed to have passed on for the time being.
