Corona Cases Update: 245 new cases of corona infected registered in Arunachal Pradesh, five patients died

On Friday, 245 new cases of corona were reported in Arunachal Pradesh, after which the total cases in the state increased to 30,492. A senior health official said that 5 people have died in the state in 24 hours. After the new figures, the total number of people who died of infection has reached 133.

At the same time, the maximum number of cases in the state were registered in the capital complex area. Out of the total cases here, 35 patients were found positive. The second highest number of infected cases came in Namsai, where 26 new cases were registered, followed by Changlang with the number of 27 patients with the third highest number of cases. State Surveillance Officer Dr Lobsang Jampa said that one fresh death each has been reported in Capital Complex area, West Kameng, Tawang and Lohit districts.

302 more people have recovered from the disease

The official said that 302 more people have been cured of the disease, taking the total number of cured cases in the state to 27,150, he said, adding that there are now 3,209 active cases in the state. At the same time, the recovery rate of coronavirus patients has now reached 89.04 percent. He said that the capital complex area, which includes Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli and Bandardeva areas, has the highest number of 546 active cases, followed by Changlang with 349 and West Kameng with 227 active cases.

Testing of 6,731 samples in a day

Jampa said that the state has so far tested more than 6.57 lakh samples for Covid-19, with only 6,731 samples tested in the state on Thursday. State Immunization Officer Dr Dimong Padung said that a total of 4,06,454 people have been vaccinated so far. Padung said that as of Thursday, a total of 1,41,810 vaccine doses are available in the state.

Negotiations continue for withdrawal of troops from other parts of the dispute

Significantly, there is a military standoff between India and China on the border in eastern Ladakh since the beginning of May last year. However, the two sides completed the process of withdrawing troops from the northern and southern banks of Pangong Lake in February after several rounds of military and diplomatic talks. At present, talks are going on between the two countries regarding the withdrawal of troops from the rest of the standoff. However, no positive results are visible from this conversation. China is continuously deploying troops and weapons on its western borders.

China's 'nefarious' antics can be gauged from the fact that it has deployed PLA troops near the Tibet unit near the Sikkim border. 'Dragon' has made this deployment in the strategically important Chumbi Valley between Sikkim and Bhutan. The Chinese army has created a new set of militia, which is named Mimang Chetan (MC). This includes Tibetan youth. The Chinese army has also provided training to all these people. There are two batches of MC, each with participation of 100 youths. Out of this, one batch has been fully trained and only they have been deployed.
