Government school instructor arrested for molesting kids

The headmaster and a teacher of a public primary school in Tumakuru have been placed on administrative leave by the state education department, according to authorities. They are accused of sexually abusing female pupils.
Manjunath, the suspended teacher, and Nataraj, the head teacher of Boranakunte Government Primary School in Madhugiri Taluk in Tumakuru District, have been named.
Manjunath allegedly harassed female pupils in classes 4,5, and 6 for numerous months.
Despite the parents' warnings, the instructor persisted in bullying the youngsters. Parents who were outraged by the teacher's actions beat Manjunath on Monday and reported him to the police, according to authorities.
After the complaint, the Madhugiri block education officer B Thimmaraju, circle inspector Hanumantharayappa, and women and child welfare officer B Anitha visited the school and took the pupils' statements.
A father informed reporters, "My kid told me that the instructor touched her improperly multiple times."
"We reported the event to headmaster Nataraj, but he did not take it seriously or report it to higher authorities," he said. "We all agreed to give him a lesson on Monday. We all stormed the building and protested there. We complained to the taluk education authorities and to the police. They took action right away and arrived to the school, he said.
"Because to a public complaint, I went to the school and examined it. On the phone, the villagers informed me that for many days, the instructors had been sexually abusing the pupils, particularly the 4th and 5th graders. Thimmaraju BEO stated. "About 300 people were gathered in front of the school when I arrived. The head of the gram panchayat, the vice-head of the SDMC, the head of the village, and all the parents gathered to protest. They complained to me in writing. We were joined by child welfare officials who interviewed parents and kids. I've ordered both of them to be suspended," he stated.
"Nataraj, the head teacher, has been suspended on grounds of neglect of duty. When such significant accusations were made against a teacher, he should have informed higher authorities. Police Inspector Hanumantharayappa said that Manjunath has been the subject of a Pocso Act case that has been filed at the Baduvanahalli police station. Investigation is ongoing, and we will add additional portions after the females get their medical exams.
