Maharashtra: Death certificate issued in the name of a woman alive, relatives disclosed when they saw their face
When the sick woman was alive, her relatives were handed a death certificate and she was given the deadbody of someone else. The incident took place at 8 am on Saturday at the Kovid Care Center in Nagpur. A complaint has been lodged at the Hingna police station against this incident in Gaikwad Patil Kovidalaya, located in Dongargaon, Nagpur.
The name of the woman is Asha Moon. His age is 63 years. On Friday, they came to know that they are corona positive. If the Kovid infection does not spread to the whole family, the family members of the woman got them admitted to the Gaekwad Patil Kovidalaya located in Dongargaon area. He was admitted at 11.30 in the night. After getting admitted, the hospital staff sent the relatives home. Around 8 am on Saturday morning, relatives received a call from Kovidalaya. It was told in the phone that Asha Moon died of a heart attack.
Would not have seen the face, would have been someone else's funeral
All the relatives rushed to the hospital quickly. The hospital staff there handed him a death certificate in the name of Asha Moon. Also asked to carry the dead body kept in a plastic bag. Relatives insisted on seeing the face of the dead body. When he saw that the face of the dead body is not that of Asha Moon, he ran to the side where he had kept Asha Moon. Asha Moon was found sitting in the same bed. When relatives started asking questions, the hospital bouncers drove the relatives out of the hospital. After this, relatives immediately discharged Asha Moon and placed her in a home isolation. Later relatives lodged a complaint about this whole incident at Hingna police station in Nagpur.
