Telangana State Public Service Commission cancels the test after a paper leak

Due to a paper leak, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) decided to postpone the test scheduled for March 5.
A new date for holding the test will be revealed later, according to the TSPSC.
"The Commission has decided to CANCEL the test conducted on March 5, 2023 after carefully reviewing FIR No. 95/2023, Dt: 14/03/2023 lodged by Central Crime Station, Hyderabad District, regarding the leaking of question papers. Leaders of the OU Bahujan Students Federation organized a demonstration earlier on Tuesday at Osmania University to denounce the theft of the Telangana State Public Service Commission's (TSPSC) exam paper.
Student Federation state president OU JAC Kothapalli Tirupati requested the resignation of TSPSC chairman Janardhan Reddy while speaking to the media during the event.
Kothapalli Tirupati, OU JAC, informed reporters, "Exam papers for junior engineers and town planning were leaked. For many years at Osmania University, students have been preparing for these examinations by studying diligently."
"We were from small towns, and in the hopes of finding employment, we had been working hard to prepare for the SI and Constable coaching, Group 1, Group 2, and other exams. A few wealthy individuals did, however, get these positions by paying the TSPSC $5 to $10 lakh. We demand that Praveen be suspended together with the immediate resignation of Janardhan Reddy, the TSPSC chairman. We also demand that fresh notices be sent out and fresh tests be held. It is necessary to take strict action against the leak's perpetrators. Some of them could even be higher authorities, "Said he.
According to the City Police Commissioner on Tuesday, further investigation into the matter of the Assistant Engineer Recruitment Test paper leak, which was first reported on Monday, has been given to SIT.
In a statement, the Hyderabad police claimed that "Begumbazar Police Station, Hyderabad City, reported the Assistant Engineer recruitment test leakage case on March 13, 2023, in accordance with Cr. No. 64/2023 U. Sections 409, 420, 120(B) IPC, 66B, 66C, 70 of the IT Act, and Section 4 of the Telangana Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means) Act 1997. With immediate effect, the case is hereby transferred to SIT CCS, Hyderabad City The Addl. CP Crimes, SIT, and SHO Begumbazar PS will take the appropriate steps and report compliance."
According to sources, Hyderabad police detained nine persons for their claimed participation in the Telangana State Public Service Commission's (TSPSC) public test paper leak.
