Sports Desk: There are many such records in the world of cricket which are more difficult to believe than they are broken. One such record is when an Indian bowler bowled 21 consecutive overs (maiden) in Test cricket. The name of this player is Bapu Nadkarni and he made this record in the year 1964.

The chances of scoring against economical bowler Bapu Nadkarni were zero. During the match played against England in Chennai, he did this record while throwing 21 empty overs. After bowling for 2 hours, he gave away just 27 runs. Not only this, he threw 27 maiden overs during the inning. 

Bapu Nadkarni was born on 4 April 1933 and breathed his last on 17 January 2020 in Mumbai. He played 41 Test matches during his lifetime from 1955 to 1968 and during this period, taking 88 wickets, gave 1414 runs. One special thing is that he made his debut in Test and playing against New Zealand.  

After India defeated Australia in the Test series, England captain Kevin Pietersen warned Team India. He has challenged India to win in this, creating an atmosphere for the India and England series. Kevin Pietersen tweeted in Hindi and congratulated India for winning the series. Also said that the real team will come to India in two weeks. Team India should stay away from it. Peterson's tweet has been shared a lot.

Kevin Pietersen wrote in a tweet, ' India should celebrate this historic victory as it has been achieved against all odds. But the real team is coming after a few weeks which you will have to defeat in your house. Be cautious, beware of celebrating too much in two weeks. The England team is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka. There is a series of two Tests playing there. Out of this, the English team has won a test. Now he has to play another test. After this, England's team will come to India under the leadership of Joe Root. Here he has to play four Tests, three ODIs and five T20 matches.

India has announced an 18-man squad for the first two Tests against England. In this, captain Virat Kohli, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and fast bowler Ishant Sharma have returned to the team. The other players who are injured are away from the team to recover. At the same time, the rest of the players who have visited Australia are with the team. The first Test between India and England will be played in Chennai from 5 February.
