Rekha Hasija says that Prasadam started his free food delivery service on April 11 during the Corona period. On the first day, food was delivered to the needy 11 Kovid positive families. Started with the people close to the corona virus infection. After that gradually the number of people contacting kept on increasing. All the members initially cooked their own food in their homes and started delivering it to the needy.

Inspiration was received from the message on WhatsApp

Rekha Hasija told that she was inspired by a message on WhatsApp for this. He discussed this with his friend and started delivering food to the homes of Kovid positive families. When more people started contacting, created a WhatsApp group "Prasadam" and added other people who wanted to serve it. Payal Davar, Neena Munyal, Varsha Kapoor, Suman Mahajan, Sangeeta Katyal, Sunil Agarwal, Vinod Ahuja etc. joined the group and the caravan grew. Gaya.

did not take money from people

The members of Prasadam's group did not take any charge for delivering food to people's homes during the Corona period, nor did they demand it from anyone. On being healthy, the members used to cooperate financially in the service work by joining the campaign.
