In all the police stations of Greater Noida zone, a campaign was launched against those who drink alcohol in the open. In the campaign, action was taken against a total of 364 people in all the police stations of Greater Noida Zone. Action was taken against all under IPC section 290. Campaigns are being run continuously against those who drink alcohol in the open in the area. Along with this, necessary legal action is also being taken to ensure that the corona rules are followed.

The cases of corona epidemic have started decreasing in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. But still night curfew is in force. In such a situation, the police is taking big action against those who violate the coron rules. Police have launched a big campaign against those who consume alcohol in public places in violation of Corona rules.

Police took out a foot march

Regarding this, Police Commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar took out a march on foot. The purpose of this march was to follow the Corona protocol and to strengthen the security system in the area. During this, the police took action against 363 people who consumed alcohol in a public place.

The police checked vehicles on the roads of Noida and Greater Noida late at night and marched on foot. During this, all the police stations took action against people drinking alcohol in public places in their areas. Police Commissioner PRO said that many people were caught drinking alcohol in public places in violation of the law.

Action was taken against these people under section 290 of IPC. No one has been arrested in the action. All the people have been invoiced. The violators were brought to the police station and released after filling surety bonds.

Uttar Pradesh DGP Mukul Goel on Saturday ordered an inquiry against BR Meena, a 1997 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer. Senior police officials said that a Ghaziabad man accused Meena of harassing his daughter by calling her late at night.

UP Police, through its official Twitter handle, replied to the complainant that the UP DGP has asked Additional Director General of Police, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) Headquarters, Ajay Anand to investigate the matter and submit the report to him at the earliest.

BR Meena is currently posted as Inspector General of Police, PAC, Eastern Zone in Prayagraj. Meena has not yet reacted to the allegations against her. State Police Spokesperson AN Tripathi said that more details will be given in the matter after the investigation is completed.

In the tweet, the officials assured the complainant that cognizance of his complaint has been taken and the matter is being investigated. The complainant has been asked to submit a written application in this regard to the Ghaziabad Police with all the details.

The complainant, in a tweet dated July 30, had said that IG calls his daughter late and threatens her with different numbers. He demanded immediate intervention of the state government and tagged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, DGP UP, IPS and IAS associations in his tweet. The complainant in his Twitter profile has described himself as a retired government official.
