Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the civil servants should make meaningful efforts to make public welfare schemes of the government public. CM Yogi addressed the 'Annual Lecture Series (Virtual-2020)', a joint event of former Civil Service Officers Forum and Sankalp Foundation Foundation, at the government residence.
Speaking on the occasion, while expressing his views on the subject of 'Culture, Administration and Spirituality', he said that if civil service officials increase their focus towards the country and society, the results will be seen. He said that civil servants should follow discipline while remaining sensitive to the public. He said that people coming into the civil service have executive powers. In such a situation, they need to behave balanced.
He further said that he should protect himself from temptations. Civil servants should join the common people while solving their problems. They should become sensitive administrators by creating a good image among the public. Administrative officers should start their career positively. They should embrace spirituality in their thinking while understanding Indian values.
The Chief Minister said that man is the best spiritual being of the universe. Spirituality makes a person full of positive energy. Positivity gives a clear direction. There is no doubt in setting goals. He said that Adi Guru Shankaracharya is a classic example of spiritual thinking. Begging is a divine quality of India's tradition. This ends the arrogance of both beggars and beggars. Our culture always inspires nishkam karma. It is based on the concept of Ram Rajya.
