Two sanitation workers have been suspended for not disposing of the dead pigs. Many officials including DIG Deepak Kumar, ADM Judicial Moinul Islam, and SDM Vipin Kumar Shivhare reached the spot and took the information.

Nine pigs were found dead on Tuesday near the garbage site near Vasudev Vidya Mandir and near Jama Masjid in Mohalla Kothi Ganj. There was anger among the people of Muslim society due to the death of pigs near Jama Masjid. On information, SDM Vipin Kumar Shivhare along with the police reached the spot. In view of the situation, the dead animals were immediately removed from there through the Nagar Panchayat. A day ago, DIG Deepak Kumar, who came for inspection in the case of getting the remains of the cow in Salempur, also came here and inquired.

A meeting was organized under the chairmanship of ADM Judicial Moinul Islam regarding this issue.
