Monsoon is going to knock in UP soon. The weather turned pleasant on Thursday due to pre-monsoon rains. The process of heavy rain and winds continued since morning. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to reach UP within the next 48 hours. It is being told that this year the monsoon will knock in UP a week earlier than last year. The process of which has started with the Pre-Monsoon Rain.

After the rain on Thursday, there has been some relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department had expressed the possibility of rain in 33 districts of UP including Lucknow. After which the weather suddenly changed on Thursday morning. Strong and cold winds were blowing and heavy rain started in many parts since morning.

The weather has become quite pleasant due to this rain before the monsoon. On the other hand, the sticky heat has also given some relief. Monsoon usually knocks in UP around June 19. But the Meteorological Department says that this year the monsoon will reach UP a week before. The effect of pre-monsoon rains was seen in eastern UP as well as in western UP.

Due to heavy rains, there was water logging in many places in Lucknow. Due to which people had to face a lot of trouble in movement. There was heavy rain in Lucknow since Thursday morning. This cycle of rain continued throughout the day. The condition of Kanpur was similar. In Kanpur too, it started raining from Thursday morning which continued till evening. There was also a situation of water stagnation here.

'Monsoon will knock between June 11 to 13'

The Meteorological Department had already issued a pre-monsoon rain warning in UP. Along with Lucknow, Kanpur, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Sitapur, Hardoi, Bahraich, Sultanpur, Gonda, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Barabanki and Amethi also received heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning in the districts of Meerut division from June 11 to 13. During this time, winds are also being predicted at a speed of 30 to 40 km h. Also, there is a possibility of rain with thunder.

According to the registered case, in 2019, Atul Rai took the girl to an apartment flat in Lanka on a bluff and sexually assaulted her. The girl has also accused him that BSP leaders have been pressurizing her to keep her mouth shut after the rape. BSP leader Atul Rai Ghosi is an MP from the Lok Sabha seat. He was the candidate of the alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Elections won despite rape allegations

In the election year 2019 itself, a case of rape was registered against him, despite this he won the election. Atul Rai defeated Harinarayan Rajbhar of BJP by 1,22,018 thousand votes. A total of 11,37,931 votes were cast in this seat and Atul Kumar got 5,72,258 votes, while BJP candidate Harinarayan Rajbhar got 4,50,240 votes.

Last few months ago, BSP MP Atul Rai, who was lodged in Naini Jail of Prayagraj, had pleaded for protection from Mafia Mukhtar Ansari. He had sent a letter from jail on his letter pad to the Chief Minister to the Home Secretary demanding his security. However, Mukhtar Ansari has died of corona.
