RLD honors Ajit Singh, the party’s founder, on his 85th birthday

Workers for the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) observed Monday as “Farmers’ Inspiration Day” throughout the state in honor of the 85th birthday of the party’s founder and former Union minister, Chaudhary Ajit Singh.

To commemorate the day, a number of events were held across all districts, including debates, flower tributes, and the delivery of fruits to hospitals.

At the party’s state headquarters, Anil Dubey, national spokesman, presided over a seminar. Speaking to the assembly, dignitaries emphasized the social welfare achievements made by Chaudhary Ajit Singh, citing his eight times as a member of parliament and his four years as a minister in the Indian government.

Anupam Mishra, the national secretary of the RLD, and other officials gave fruits to patients at the Virangana Jhalkari Bai hospital in this city.
