Students are warned by TISS to take action if they demonstrate against the event on January 22

On January 18, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) sent out a note alerting students of potential legal repercussions should they stage a demonstration against “the event of Ram Janmabhoomi Pran Pratishthan”. A top official said, “Maintaining a peaceful environment on campus is the idea.”

Since there had been “no formal or informal declaration by any student organization of holding any protest on Monday,” a student described the warning as “bizarre.”

Another student drew attention to an alternative notification that prohibited them from hosting any events on campus until the administration revised the rules for hosting activities outside of those required by UGC. January 18 is the date on that notification as well.

Prisoners prepare things for the ceremony that will be broadcast live from UP prisons.

Inside their barracks, UP prison prisoners will see the consecration event live. “The prisoners are very much keen to watch the ceremony live,” said Dharmveer Prajapati, the Minister of Prisons in Uttar Pradesh. “We already have the infrastructure, such as LED TVs in the barracks,” said ADG, Prison, SN Sabat.

Joyous deal
They will also have a spiritual experience from it, which may encourage them to avoid crime if they are released from prison. On Thursday, carpets with images of the Ram temple and hanging carpets from the Bhadohi prison were already sent to Ayodhya. 11,000 inmates have created diyas at Raebareli Prison.

Ambanis, Bachchan, and Birlas are among the state government invitees.

Star Amitabh Bachchan and his family, together with billionaire Mukesh Ambani, are on a limited state guest list for the consecration. Actors Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Allu Arjun, Mohanlal, Anupam Kher, and Chiranjeevi are on the list from the film business. In addition, there is the sarod master Amjad Ali, poet and lyricist Manoj Muntashir, and his spouse, writer and lyricist Prasoon Joshi. Among the other well-known businessmen who were invited were TCS CEO K Krithivasan, Mahindra and Mahindra’s Anand Mahindra, DCM Shriram’s Ajay Shriram, and Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla and his wife Nirja.
