Prior to the inter-examination, a case of carelessness has come to light in the Jamui region of Bihar. Question papers instead of the treasury center arrived to 25 centers in the district with seven days remaining in the inter-exam. Inter exams will begin on February 1st. The question papers were gathered and then forwarded to the treasury center once the problem was brought to the attention of the authorities. The treasury building's stock area has the test materials secured within.
The test question sheets were sent to Jamui on Sunday, when the police distributed them to 25 exam sites under the assumption that they were an answer sheet. As soon as these papers arrived, the test centers descended into chaos. When these papers were sent to two local schools that weren't designated as test sites, the situation worsened.
The administration of the school and the staff were seen dodging media inquiries. These exam papers were carefully gathered and sent to the Treasury building before the case was brought before the education department.
This occurrence has brought up concerns once again about the state's test preparations. The potential for exam paper leakage is also being discussed.
