One crore families will get tap water in UP by March

Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra has said that under Har Ghar Nal Yojana, tap water will be made available to 75 lakh families in the state by January 26. One crore families will be provided tap water by next March. Said that in the districts where the work of Har Ghar Nal Yojana is going on at a slow pace, there should be fast work in the form of a mission. He also asked the Divisional Commissioner and the District Magistrate to review it regularly.
The Chief Secretary reviewed the works of Agriculture, Livestock, Revenue, Labour, NEDA, Namami Gange, and Urban Development departments by interacting with the Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates through video conferencing. The Chief Secretary said that large cow protection centers should be constructed in all the districts and their operations should be started by March 31. Instructed to appoint nodal officers for inspection of cowsheds and make arrangements for fodder.
Reviewing the works of UPNEDA, the Chief Secretary said that the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, and Municipal Corporation offices should get rooftop solar plants installed. Instructions were given to complete the drone survey by January 31 under the Swamitva Yojana. DM of Bahraich gave a presentation on employment generation in MNREGA and the CDO of Ghaziabad gave a presentation on Patient Referral Tracking Management System.
