On Monday, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road, Transport, and Highways, and Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, officially opened and laid the cornerstone for 18 projects totaling Rs 10,000 crore that will improve road connectivity in a number of eastern Uttar Pradesh districts, including Gorakhpur.

At a solemn ceremony conducted at Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Park, the federal minister and the UP CM set the foundation stones for 12 additional National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) projects valued around Rs 9,200 crores, according to a news release from the state of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister, occasionally greeted Union Minister Gadkari and said that the state's potential for considerable investment is growing as a result of robust infrastructure development.


CM Yogi said at a gathering held at Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Park, "Investment proposals of Rs 33.50 lakh crore were submitted at the World Investors Conference. A safe environment and top-notch infrastructure both contributed significantly to this. In the next three years, we will be able to provide one crore young people work and employment possibilities by implementing the Global Investors Summit's recommendations. The youngsters won't be coerced into moving."

He said that because to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a strong network of road infrastructure is now visible across the country.

The CM said that PM Modi and Nitin Gadkari had significantly improved UP's infrastructure. Gadkari Ji recently donated road projects worth Rs 7000 crore to Ballia, and today he visited Gorakhpur and unveiled projects worth Rs 10,000 crore, the man said.


Moreover, CM Yogi said that the state government is dedicated to provide all assistance in completing these projects.

The CM noted that Kushinagar, the location of Buddha's "Mahaparinirvana," is being connected with Kapilvastu and Shravasti, as well as the fact that eastern Uttar Pradesh is a popular destination for foreign Buddhist tourists.
