Four of Amritpal Singh's assistants were transported to Assam following his detention

On Sunday morning, four alleged close associates of Amritpal Singh, the pro-Khalistani leader of Punjab, were flown to Dibrugarh in Assam. The Panjab Police squad that transported the four people to Assam was commanded by SP Tejbir Singh Hundal. According to authorities, they were initially taken to Jorhat and then transported to Dibrugarh.
Tejbir Singh Hundal informed the journalists that the identities of the four will be revealed later. They have been held there, according to the local police, in the Dibrugarh Central Prison.
Four people who were originally detained in Panjab have been transported to the district, according to Biswajit Pegu, deputy commissioner of the Dibrugarh district. Yet no other information were disclosed.
