When filming an action sequence for "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," Akshay Kumar, who is renowned for completing his own stunts, hurt himself. The movie, which was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also features Tiger Shroff. The actor was hurt while filming in Scotland.
According to Hindustan Times, Akshay suffered this injury while doing a specific stunt while filming an action scene with Tiger. Now, he wears braces on his knee.
The actor is now filming his close-ups so that the Scottish schedule can be completed on time, the insider said, adding that the action sequences have been temporarily postponed.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which is produced by Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment, is positioned as India's response to the Fast and Furious series. With regard to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Bhagnani earlier told PTI, "I thought, I want to produce India's Hobbs & Shaw, I want to make India's Fast & Furious - large-scale action, with humour among the characters rather than in the storyline.
The producer said that before bringing Ali Abbas Zafar on board, he first contacted Akshay for the role. I started with Akshay Sir, and he was really pleased. Who will I bring aboard as Chote Miyan, he asked me? He exclaimed, "Fantastic," after I added, "Tiger." I went to Ali Abbas Zafar, one of the top filmmakers in the nation, as soon as the stars were on board.
In a previous interview with Pinkvilla, director Ali Abbas Zafar said that although the movie's title is a coincidence, it has nothing to do with the Amitabh Bachchan-Govinda blockbuster from 1998. There is a reason why it is named Bade Miyan Chote Miyan even though it has nothing to do with the old movie. The movie has a really intriguing twist that may serve as an homage to the late Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, he remarked.
Sonakshi Sinha, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and others are featured in the December 2023 release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
