Acharya Chanakya says that a person should take care of only 4 things. If they were taken care of, knowledge of those things was made and its importance was known, then that person would never need anything else.

Through this verse, Acharya Chanakya says that there is no donation like food and water. A person who gives water to hungry food and thirst is a good person. The deities of such a person also listen. Therefore, man should keep donating food from time to time in life.
Acharya Chanakya has called the Dwadashi date of the Hindu month the most sacred. This is because Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this date. The person who worships and fasts on the Dwadashi date of the Hindu calendar, gets the blessings of Lord Vishnu.
Gayatri Mantra is considered one of the major mantras of Hinduism. Acharya Chanakya says that there is no greater mantra than Gayatri Mantra. Rishis have also described the Gayatri Mantra as very effective. By chanting this mantra, age, soul, power, wealth and brahmatej are attained. Mata Gayatri is called Vedmata because all Vedas originated from them.
At the end of the verse, Acharya Chanakya has given mother the name of the biggest pilgrimage deity or guru in this world. The service of Mata gives the merit of traveling to all the pilgrimages. All the gods and pilgrimages are there at the feet of the mother.
