CM Yogi's keen eye on Corona's situation! Instructions given for food for laborers, formation of team of experts and supply of oxygen
The Uttar Pradesh government is constantly taking strict steps to break the corona virus chain. In this sequence, on Tuesday, CM Yogi Adityanath has issued some guidelines. The partial corona curfew is in effect till 7 am on May 6 in the state of Philhat. Necessary and mandatory services have been continued during this period. Drugs, vegetables, grocery shops, industrial units should remain operational, with this there should not be any unnecessary crowd.
The Chief Minister has ordered that due to partial corona curfew, there should be no problem of food for any laborer, cart, hawker, daily laborer, in such a situation, there is a need to operate 'community eateries'. Necessary efforts should be made in this regard from the level of Commissioner of Agricultural Production. Food arrangements in industrial units are required No person should be disturbed due to lack of food, it should be ensured.
Formation of team of experts
With this, CM Yogi has directed that an advisory panel of health experts should be prepared at the state level for effective control and necessary strategies on the corona virus. This panel will advise the state level team-9 from time to time, as well as keep in constant touch with the principals of all Kovid Hospital in-charges / medical colleges. Will continue to guide them. Consultation of health experts will be useful in formulating strategy.
At the same time, health facilities are being continuously increased in the state in view of the state of Kovid infection. Along with medical education, health department, private hospitals have also been started for the treatment of Kovid patients. The need is to increase the number of beds. We have to double the current capacity of beds in all districts. Action should be ensured from the Minister of Medical Education.
250-bed hospital will start in Lucknow soon
HAL's 250-bed hospital will soon be operational in Lucknow. Health department should arrange for human resources here. Similarly, in collaboration with DRDO in Lucknow and Varanasi, a new Kovid hospital with all facilities has also been constructed. There will be 140 more beds in KGMU. Special Kovid Dedicated Hospital is starting in Cancer Hospital in Lucknow itself.
To protect the villages from Kovid infection, a special Kovid Testing Campaign is starting from 05 May. All necessary preparations, including increase in the number of test kits, RRT, etc. should be completed by the Health Department in connection with this campaign.
Arrangement for oxygen supply
Simultaneously, all the oxygen refillers in all districts should be designated to supply home isolation patients. Oxygen must be made available to the people under treatment in home isolation. This system should be implemented effectively in all the districts. If the family of a patient wants to get cylinder refilling, then he should be helped. There should not be any complaint about any kind of harassment by the police. Additional Chief Secretary, Home should ensure necessary action in this regard.
CM Yoga said that all necessary efforts are being made to improve the supply of oxygen in the state. Yesterday 788 metric tonnes of oxygen has been distributed in the state. On the basis of the initial report of oxygen audit, there has been a reduction in unnecessary consumption. The daily details of demand, supply and consumption of every district should be made available to the Chief Minister's Office.
Oxygen Express will arrive in Lucknow this afternoon
At the same time, a special oxygen express with 10 tankers is coming to Lucknow this afternoon. In the next one or two days, the Oxygen Express will come from Jamnagar (Gujarat) with 40 tons of oxygen. Tankers are also being supplied from West Bengal. The need of oxygen should be monitored in all districts. Oxygen needs of districts with relatively less infection should be met on priority.
CM said that the closed oxygen plant in Ayodhya is being restarted. Sugarcane Development Department and Excise Department are making special efforts in the direction of oxygen generation through sugar mills and distilleries in 50-50 bedded CHCs in 34 districts. Supplies are also being provided directly from MSME units by connecting them to hospitals. Proposals for setting up oxygen plants have been sent to the Government of India in 61 districts. Plant installation work is going on with PM Cares in 14 districts. The process of setting up a new oxygen plant should be completed expeditiously. It should be reviewed every day.
