Woman from Punjab who was dumped by her husband due to her facial hair now grows a beard and embraces a new life

A lady from Punjab who suddenly grew a beard and a moustache and went through a divorce from her marriage has spoken out about how her facial hair has subsequently become her "finest feature."

Mandeep Kaur did not develop facial hair after being married to her now ex-husband in 2012, and she had a rather typical life. After a few years of marriage, she started to grow hair on her chin and cheeks, which fundamentally altered her environment. Her husband filed for divorce as a result of this alteration in her looks, sending Mandeep into a tailspin of emotions.

Mandeep started going to a Gurdwara in order to look after her mental wellbeing and accept her new traits. Mandeep acknowledges that the Guru Sahib blessed her and that as a result, she has finally learned to love herself.

She said that she had been punishing herself for this change in her looks for a number of years. After embracing her appearance, Mandeep has ceased desiring to have her hair removed.

She now wears a thick beard and also dons a turban. She now has an unique new look since she also rides a motorbike. Mandeep's new look may cause some people to mistake her for a guy, but she is completely enamored with her appearance and unconcerned about how others may respond.

Mandeep, who is from Punjab in India, works with her siblings as a farmer.

In the UK, another lady by the name of Harnaam Kaur had accepted facial hair. She remembered that at the age of 11, she developed facial hair as a result of polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS, a disorder that alters women's hormone levels.

Kaur had described how she was often harassed because of her appearance and how she went to the salon a lot for facial waxing. She remembered feeling confident in herself after finishing her secondary school and quitting shaving her head. She has delivered TED speeches, appeared on Teen Vogue, and even appeared on Cosmo India. She is now 31 years old.
